On Friday, the president and vice president held a rose garden event where the theme was to inform Americans that 'help is on the way'.  It is expected that stimulus checks will soon hit the bank accounts of Americans soon. House Majority  Leader Chuck Schumer said payments should arrive within weeks, while the president said payments may be in bank accounts by the weekend. (Certainly, Americans would prefer 'this weekend' rather than weeks.) Vice President Kamala Harris, also remarking during the ceremony, said  help has arrived . While praising the president for his leadership Harris said, "You had faith that Americans would support this plan."  Calling the plan 'concrete and tangible',  Harris said, "Americans will see what we did here and will feel the impact of this plan."
