President Obama Does Radio Circuit This Week

On yesterday, Tuesday, February 20, the president the President participated in interviews with local TV anchors from the Boston, Massachusetts; Charleston, South Carolina; Baltimore, Maryland; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Wichita, Kansas; San Antonio, Texas; San Francisco, California; and Honolulu, Hawaii markets.

These interviews in the Diplomatic Room as part of the “Live from the White House” interview series.

Following his State of the Union address last week, the president held a virtual interview with Google+ and Americans from around the country in a Google+ Hangout. This event was streamed live on WhiteHouse.gov, YouTube.com/whitehouse and the White House Google+ page.

Representatives from the CDC and the NIH were on hand at the White House during Monday's press briefing to update the public and address concerns over the Zika virus that has caused some babies to be born with deformities.
