First Lady Michelle Obama Workin' It Well! Those attending last evening's DNC fundraising event at New York's St. James Theatre witnessed nothing short of a spectacular event. With the likes of Patti LaBelle and actress Sarah Jessica Parker as supporters at this event, you can bet a good time was had by all. At Least Through November 2nd Speaking at the Generation 44 kickoff off summit on September 30th at Constitution Hall. President Obama is calling on the same generation of today's young people who helped him get elected in 2008 to help the Democratic party remain at the helm. President Obama told the Gen44-ers, "You proved that the power of everyday people going door to door, neighbor to neighbor, friend to friend, using networks, using the Internet -- that that was stronger than the forces of the status quo. And every single one of you is a shareholder in that mission to rebuild our country and reclaim our future." With the mid-term elections coming up November 2nd, the convention was the perfect time to rally the youth's support, as he told them, "So I’m back here today just in case you’ve forgotten what that feels like, to change the country.
