Renowned culinary artist and chef, José André has been named to President Biden's Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition. The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition (PCSFN) is a federal advisory committee that aims to promote healthy, accessible eating and physical activity for all Americans, regardless of background or ability. President Biden issues Executive Order 14048, renewing the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition. This Executive Order allows for continued  promotion  of the National Youth Sports  Strategy, and provides for the work of the Council to include a focus on expanding national awareness of the importance of mental health as it pertains to physical fitness and nutrition. WH press secretary tests positive for COVID, a second time.

As the U.S. is learning that another COVID variant has emerged, White House press secretary Jen Psaki reveals she has tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement Tuesday, Psaki said she learned of her positive status as she was preparing for her trip with President Biden to Europe.  President Biden is planning to meet Wednesday with NATO allies in Europe. He has not tested positive, as of article publication. This, however, will be Psaki's second time testing positive for the virus while expecting to travel overseas with the president.
