President Biden addressed the nation Wednesday in what will likely be his last public television address of his administration, just days before the inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump. President Biden addressed the Hamas conflict and shared concerns for the nation as the new U.S. presidential regime prepares to lead the country. Biden elected to step back to allow Vice President Kamala Harris to run for president in his stead, with just 90 days until the 2025 election, amid concerns for his health and mental capacity. In an announcement in the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday the president said that after isolating for five days, and taking PAXLOVID, he has tested negative for COVID-19. "I'm feeling great", the president said. He thanked those concerned for their well wishes, and credited his being vaccinated and boosted for his quick recovery. On Friday, the president took action to preserve the reproductive rights of women. His Executive Order  seeks to advance reproductive healthcare services and promote access to critical reproductive healthcare services, including abortions. "It remains the policy of my Administration to support women's rights to choose and to protect and defend reproductive rights', wrote Biden. Former senator Harry (D-NV) Reid passed Tuesday, December 28. He was one of the longest running and most impactful senators Congress had the pleasure of working with, serving from 1987 to 2015.
