President Donald J. Trump Announces Intent to Nominate Personnel to Key Administration Posts

The White House announces intent to nominate the following to the key posts within the administration. Nominees include Brian Benczkowski, Steve Bradbury and Carlos  Muñiz. Brian Allen Benczkowski of Virginia to be an Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Division, Department of Justice.  Mr. Benczkowski is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP whose practice focuses on litigation and white collar criminal defense, including government and internal investigations. Senate Republicans continue to show their disdain for President Obama

The Senate, once again, show they have less interest in moving the United States of America forward, and are more intent on finding ways to block just about any and everything President Obama tries to do- even if it means looking back as far as two years ago to do it. Here's what's being reported from the Associated Press (AP). The Supreme Court on Thursday limited the president's power to fill high-level vacancies with temporary appointments, ruling in favor of Senate Republicans in their partisan clash with President Barack Obama. The high court's first-ever case involving the Constitution's recess appointments clause ended in a unanimous decision holding that Obama's appointments to the National Labor Relations Board in 2012 without Senate confirmation were illegal. President Obama Announces More Key Administration Posts

President Obama announced his intent to nominate the following individuals to key Administration posts:   Mark Gaston Pearce, Nominee for Member, National Labor Relations Board, and upon appointment to be designated Chairman Mark Gaston Pearce is currently Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), a position he has held since August 2011.  He has served as a Member of the NLRB since March 2010.  Previously, Mr. Pearce was a founding partner of Creighton, Pearce, Johnsen & Giroux from 2002 to 2010.  Before founding the Creighton, Pearce firm, Mr. Pearce worked as an associate and junior partner at Lipsitz, Green, Fahringer, Roll, Salisbury & Cambria LLP from 1994 to 2002.  From 1979 to 1994, he was a district trial specialist for the NLRB in Buffalo, NY.  He has been a Board Member of the New York State Industrial Board of Appeals, and he has taught labor studies courses at Cornell Un...
