Finding COVID-19: The Origins

Where we are, and how we got here. As most of America plans to reopen work, businesses and schools after millions of COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered, the task at finding the origin of the deadly virus that has caused a world-wide pandemic that killed hundreds of thousands, continues. In March of 2021 the Biden administration put together a COVID-19 task force, the U.S. Intelligence Community, to determine the origin of the virus. The CDC estimates that of the roughly thirty-three million U.S. cases, nearly  600,000  Americans have died from the virus.  We all recall the lifestyle changes. Many jobs forced to shut down; schools closed and pick and virtural learning became the norm. We recall the sacrifices many made to stay safe, to distance oneself from friends and family - just to stay alive.  While some took the virus seriously, others did not. Biden's Economic Plan Called 'Smart'

As opposition to President Biden's economic plan continues by some, others have a 'smart' take on the president's ideas. (And no, the stock market hasn't crashed, nor is it currently). Economic Leaders Praise President   Biden's  Historic  Economic Proposals   President Biden’s efforts to revitalize the economy and support small businesses, including his proposed corporate tax plans, continue to receive praise from trusted economic leaders as America gets on the move again. President Biden’s Address to Congress

 Says,  “America is back, and here to stay.” Ahead of his first one-hundred days in office, President Biden addressed Congress, and Americans, in a live television broadcast Wednesday night where he lauded the actions of his administration and admonished Americans, and both parties, “to work together.” Short of mentioning the stock market, U.S. border crisis , and U.S. homelessness, Biden addressed a host of issues that still plague America but also offered what his administration wants to do, in-the-now, to move the country forward on the issues. President Biden addressed climate change, education, police reform, taxes , China, infrastructure , health care , vaccine roll outs, Afghanistan. Help has arrived vs. Help is on the way.

On Friday, the president and vice president held a rose garden event where the theme was to inform Americans that 'help is on the way'.  It is expected that stimulus checks will soon hit the bank accounts of Americans soon. House Majority  Leader Chuck Schumer said payments should arrive within weeks, while the president said payments may be in bank accounts by the weekend. (Certainly, Americans would prefer 'this weekend' rather than weeks.) Vice President Kamala Harris, also remarking during the ceremony, said  help has arrived . President Biden’s American Rescue Plan

It's a big ef**ng deal   Just as the Affordable Care Act was a ‘ big ef***ng dea l’ eleven years ago, March, 2010, President Joe Biden has just made a big deal of his own.  Biden’s American Rescue Plan legislation passed in the Senate on Wednesday. Biden is expected to sign his plan into law Thursday, at 1:30 p.m., instead of Friday as initially reported.  Photo credit: Olivier/WAPO The $1.9 trillion bill is expected to include extended unemployment benefits of $300 per week (through September, 2021), a one-time $1,400 stimulus payment and hundreds of dollars to families with children.
