Credit Report of Members of Obama Administration (And Celebrities) Posted Online

The Department of Justice is seeking to learn how the credit reports and several pieces of personal information belonging to several staff members of the Obama administration, and several celebrity icons, were posted online. 

The Atlanta Journal reported that the Justice Department said the FBI was also investigating how the Social Security number, address and a credit report of FBI Director Robert Mueller ended up on the site. The site also posted information about Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck.

In addition to celebrities that include Jay-Z and Mel Gibson, Beyonce, Ashton Kutcher, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, info was also posted about  First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Although Clinton's information did not include her credit report, addresses and other sensitive information was leaked.

The site, which bears an Internet suffix originally assigned to the Soviet Union, expanded throughout the day Monday to add entries on Britney Spears and former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

TMZ first broke the story and has since reported that presidential candidate Mitt Romney, as well has golfer Tiger Woods have also been added to 'the list'.

Gary Locke Nominated as Ambassador to China

Gary Locke, former White House Secretary of Commerce, has been nominated by the President as U.S. ambassador to China. Locke replaces former Utah governor  Jon Huntsman, who has stepped down to (wait for it) possibly challenge President Obama in the 2012 presidential race. Locke was the first Chinese-American governor and should the Senate approve his nomination, would the be first Chinese-American ambassador to China.  He is a partner in the Seattle office of the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine which lists China as one of its specialties.
