Could recalling CA governor Gavin Newsome have serious implications for California?

You've probably seen (and heard) the right-wing news contributor Larry Elder on Fox News.  His views align with the rhetoric of the said channel.

Elder is said to be a contender to defeat California governor Gavin Newsome in the upcoming California recall election. Some worry that Elder,  a staunch Trump supporter who 'mentored'  Stephen Miller, former Trump-appointed senior policy advisor, could spell trouble.

Miller has spoken in opposition of immigration, especially in California.  

Lead Democracy Now! reporter, Amy Goodman talked with LA Times columnist Jean Guillermo, author of Hate Monger, to discuss how the Newsome recall election could have serious implications for Californians should Elder become its next governor.
